Inspiring Curiosity and Wonder - Tools for Engagement
Rethink you own teaching and learning as an educator! Grow your pedagogy skills to have students directly engaging with nature, thinking like a scientist, learning through observation and discussion, and experiencing instruction based on how people learn. Through a combination of asynchronous (4 hrs) and synchronous live Zoom meetings (4 hours) participants will complete 8 hours of professional development utilizing BEETLES (Better Environmental Education, Teaching, Learning & Expertise Sharing) Project professional learning materials (read more about the Beetles Project here).
The workshop will be facilitated by Sarah Johnson of Wild Rose Education and a board member of the Colorado Alliance for Environmental Education.
