June 12 - 15, 2016

The 2016 Conservation Psychology Institute at Antioch University New England in Keene, NH invites you to join us as we share and discuss cutting-edge research related to motivating pro-environmental behavior change, fostering connection to nature, and crafting effective communication strategies. Work closely with our faculty including Dr. Louise Chawla, Dr. Libby McCann, and Dr. George Tremblay as we apply the research to real-world environmental problem.

The CPI faculty are experienced in education and training, and have practical experience in working with organizations, communities and individuals.

The Institute faculty draw on a range of didactic and interactive strategies designed to foster collaborative learning, team problem-solving, and the development of clear ‘takeaways.’

Participants are encouraged to bring their particular organizational challenges to the Institute to provide real-world problems, and specific regional case studies will be included for demonstrations and application exercises.

Expect a participatory and dynamic mix of pre-reading, presentation, small group discussion and application, Q&A, one on one coaching, and team planning time. Sessions will be held both indoors and outdoors.
