Climate Change Science and Communication in the Pacific West

The Earth to Sky NASA-NPS-USFWS partnership is taking applications for its new regionally-focused Climate Change Science and Communication course to be held at Ft. Mason in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, May 3-5, 2016.

This professional development opportunity is modeled on previous, highly successful courses from our partnership, featuring NASA and other scientists, and interpreters/environmental educators in a workshop-style setting. There is about 4-5 hours of on-demand distance learning prior to the 3 days of face-to-face sessions. This course will feature a case study at Marin Headlands. Participants will depart with their own written plan for using course content in their work educating and inspiring people to take action about climate change.

No tuition, but you have to pay your travel/per diem. Please download the "Full Course Announcement" at the top this webpage for more details about the course.
