Interns will work directly with the Education Department and are exposed to all aspects of non-formal education.  Public speaking, classroom presentations, and innovative program building are just a few of the many experiences provided during this internship.  This opportunity gives interns an unparalleled look into the marine mammal field while focusing on inspiring others to help animals and their environment.

  Application Requirements:

  • Age 18 years or older
  • Proof of U.S. citizenship, current green card or visa
  • Satisfactory completion of a background check, drug screen upon acceptance
  • Education, Biology, Marine Biology or related majors
  • Positive attitude, good work ethic and an eagerness to learn
  • Ability to work long periods of time outside in all weather conditions
  • Comfortable with public speaking in varying venues
  • Willingness to follow the policies and procedures of Marineland
  • Ability to commit to the assigned summer internship schedule
  • Ability to commit to 30-40 hours per week

 2020 Internship Dates and Deadlines for Applications:

Summer: May 25th – August 2rd   Application Deadline: April 1st
