Coastal Camp is a summer day camp located in the Marin Headlands. Coastal Camp offers educational, environmental science programs for youth grades K-12, though the majority of campers are in early elementary school. The Camp Director is responsible for all aspects of the planning, supervision and implementation of Coastal Camp.

Reporting to the Education Manager at Appleton Farms, the Youth and Schools Program Manager and Camp Director will support Appleton Farms’ mission in two capacities: 1) coordinating and leading youth programs including Appleton’s Field Study (Field Trips), After School, Home School, and Young Learner programs; and 2) overseeing all Appleton Farm Camps (summer youth and school vacation weeks) operations.
We need a camp nurse or LVN to take care of all the boo boos, owies, and medications for about 130 kids every week at science camp. We are located at approximately 6000 ft. elevation up in the beautiful San Bernardino mountains. Mostly sunshine, but a decent amount of precipitation including snow! Omaha’s Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium is seeking Safari Guides to assist with the Sleeping Bag Safari Education program, which hosts overnight educational programming year-round. Programs are held during the week as well as over the weekend. Commitment to a regular day of the week is preferable. You must be able to commit to a minimum of 3 overnights a month. Mandatory training sessions will be held prior to scheduling.
