About Meredith Hendricks. Meredith has focused on permanently conserving land for future generations and developing public open space for more than 20 years, first in northern California and now as the executive director of the Land Trust for Santa Barbara County.
About Dr. Ana M. Alvarez. Dr. Alvarez is the Deputy General Manager of the largest regional park system in the nation, the East Bay Regional Park District. With over 25 years of proven leadership practice in local government and land management, Dr. Alvarez is at the front and center of the intersectionality of conservation, climate change, equity, and inclusion.
