Hello! With archaeology as my first career and EE as my second, I have had MANY conversations with environmental educators about the disconnect between EE and culture/cultural history. Most environmental educators say, "We don't do it enough" or "we don't do it well." Is there any published research that addresses this disconnect? Possibly something that notes that practitioners tend to have more background and training in science topics than in social sciences? I'm looking for something more than an anecdotal agreement among practitioners to support a book chapter I'm writing about using EE as an approach to inspire heritage stewardship/heritage preservation (my area of expertise is integrating archaeology and EE).
