Tree Campus K-12: 2021-2022 applications now being accepted

The Arbor Day Foundation's Tree Campus K-12 recognition program celebrates K-12 schools that use trees as a learning tool. If your school celebrates Arbor Day, you're already on the path to earning recognition. This new program is based on the model of our Tree City USA and Tree Campus Higher Education programs, but tailored to K-12 schools. Your school (or a school you partner with) could be among the first in the world to fly the Tree Campus K-12 flag by sharing evidence of meeting these four goals during the 2021-2022 school year on your application, which is due by the end of this school year:

--Have a Tree Campus Team
--Document how students learn about trees at your school
--Facilitate a hands-on experience with trees
--Celebrate Arbor Day

I encourage you to check out the website to learn more and access tree-centric resources. It's free to apply and earn this special designation that you can celebrate with your community. Feel free to reply here or reach out to us at k-12@arborday.org with questions. Thanks!
