Call for proposals - Environmental Education Association of Indiana 2021 Conference!
The Environmental Education Association of Indiana (EEAI) is pleased to announce the Call for Proposals for the 2021 Hybrid Conference at Spring Mill State Park in Mitchell, Indiana on Nov 12 - 14. EEAI is accepting proposals through June 15, 2021. Submitting presenters will be notified no later than July 16, 2021.
This year’s conference will be a combination of in-person and online sessions. All in-person sessions will follow CDC safety and social distance guidelines in place at time of conference.
EEAI is a statewide, nonprofit organization with the purpose of maintaining a vital network and providing resources that support and advance quality environmental education throughout the state. The mission of EEAI is to work cooperatively to promote opportunities that will educate, motivate, and inspire citizens to conserve natural resources and meet the needs of our society while maintaining a healthy environment now and in the future. Membership consists of classroom teachers (preK-12), non-formal educators, natural resource professionals, professors, and university students.
Conference sessions should follow the conference theme, Forward into a Sustainable Future and fit into one of the four strands: (See submission form for more strand details.)
Keeping EE Sustainable
Activity Sessions that provide hands-on materials highlighting the topic of sustainability
Speakers will present 60-minute sessions. There will be a certain number of slots allocated for online speakers. Please indicate on the proposal form if you prefer to present in-person or online. Speakers presenting in person at Spring Mill State Park will receive a free meal relevant to their presentation time.
