Urban EE Review

If you want to learn more about urban environmental education, this upcoming book is for you. The "Urban Environmental Education Review" book (edited by Alex Russ and Marianne Krasny) is prepared by the EECapacity project, and written by 82 scholars and experts from 18 countries: http://cornellpress.cornell.edu/book/?GCOI=80140100988800

This book fosters novel educational approaches and helps debunk common assumptions that cities are ecologically barren and that city people don't care for, or need, urban nature or a healthy environment. Thirty chapters cover ideas related to urban context, theoretical underpinnings of urban EE, educational settings, participants, and educational approaches.

As a reminder, NAAEE eePRO has made 10 pre-edited chapters available online: https://naaee.org/eepro/resources/urban-ee-essays

To expand ideas from book chapters, we also asked chapter authors to record relevant videos, which we post on eePRO, one video per week: https://naaee.org/eepro/resources/urban-ee-colloquium
