Opportunity to Help with Research During NAAEE Conference

The ee360 evaluation team is looking for two graduate students to help gather data at the 2019 NAAEE Research Symposium and Conference.  COSI’s Center for Research and Evaluation will pay for travel, hotel, and conference registration.  In exchange, we would have these students participate with our researchers in data gathering and data entry.  If the students want to be involved in the planning, we’d be happy to Zoom with them in the protocol and instrumentation review and discussions and include them in meaning-making as part of the experience.  They would, of course, be participants in both the RS and the conference, but between sessions they would have responsibilities.  Ideally they would have CITI or comparable certification.

Our goal is to both help some students get to the conference, have some evaluation capacity building, and be exposed to more members of NAAEE than they would usually get.  And we get some much needed help in canvassing the conference (lots of pieces for ee360 we’re looking at).

If you have a student or two, please have them send Joe E. Heimlich  a copy of the vita and a cover letter by Friday August 7  at jheimlich@cosi.org or heimlich.1@osu.edu.  If you want to recommend someone highly, or if you can’t get hold of a student right away that you’d like to suggest just let Joe know.

THANKS!

Joe
