Please consider directing your time and talents to shape a request for proposals that will support the capacity of individual Affiliates and the Affiliate Network and strengthen the infrastructure of our shared movement. We anticipate engaging approximately 8 individuals, including Affiliate leaders to advise the design of an RFP and serve as reviewers for funding requests. Background
With support from the Pisces Foundation, and based on feedback from across the Affiliate Network, NAAEE is poised to begin the design and launch of a new fund that supports three key objectives:

• Increased capacity of individual Affiliates to serve as the backbone organization for environmental education at the state, regional, or provincial level (for example, strategic planning, professional development for Affiliate leaders, or JEDIA training for board members).
• Collaboration between Affiliates and/or Affiliate leaders to advance initiatives that have potential for network-wide benefit or field-building impact (for example, creating tools for more effective advocacy or communications and advancing equity and inclusion work throughout the network).
• Sustained capacity of NAAEE to provide technical support to Affiliates or Affiliate committees within the Affiliate Network as needed (for example, software subscriptions or tools for better network engagement).

Stipend
We are able to offer advisors a stipend of $500 for their participation in this process.
